Editorial Policy
This policy governs everything published on Alliance Legal Experts. It exists so readers can verify our promises instead of taking them on faith.
Authorship
All content is credited to the Alliance Editorial Desk, an editorial organization. We do not publish under invented personal bylines, do not attribute content to fictional attorneys, and do not claim professional credentials that have not been verified. If a real, named professional ever reviews a guide, that review will be stated on the guide itself with the reviewer's actual name — absent that statement, assume editorial review only.
Accuracy and updating
- Volatile figures inside guides are dated in place or replaced with links to the live official source. Nothing is backdated or presented as newer than it is.
- Changeable figures link to live official sources rather than being frozen into text.
- When the law moves — a rule vacated, a statute amended — affected guides are updated and re-dated, or clearly flagged until they can be.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected in place with a dated note. Typographical fixes that don't change meaning are made silently. The full process, including how to report, is at Corrections.
Independence and conflicts
External links point to sources chosen for usefulness and authority. Contextual references to law firms — such as Atlas Immigration Law in some immigration guides — are external resources, not endorsements of outcome, and no firm writes, reviews, or controls Alliance content. If any material relationship ever exists behind a link, it will be disclosed on the page that carries it.
The advice boundary
Alliance publishes general legal information. We do not answer personal legal questions, evaluate individual eligibility, predict results, or recommend specific attorneys. Guides are written to make your conversation with a licensed attorney shorter and better — not to replace it. See the disclaimer for the complete statement.
Reader respect
No dark patterns, no fake urgency, no lead-generation forms dressed up as tools. The privacy page describes exactly what this site does — and mostly doesn't — collect.
